HAROLD CRABB

Harold went into the service early in WWII (probably in 1943) and helped build the base, Fort Leonard Wood, where many Clarke County fellows were sent for their basic training. From there he was sent to Anchorage, Alaska and served in the office because of his typing skills. He was discharged early on the point system. He may have served only two years. His brother, Donald, was also in the service.
